Spring Nature Video – 2026 Spring Melt

After this past cold and icy Winter, the gradual warming of Spring brings new life and hope.

This nature video shares clips of physical nature and behaviors of local wildlife.

The High Point Preserve, under the stewardship of the Edward L Rose Land Conservancy, provide a natural setting.

We see fox, porcupine, turkey vultures and many species of birds.

The star of the video is a local bald eagle who catches a bullhead and serves it up for lunch on a fallen tree in Silver Lake.

Recently a bright young person, on seeing a bald eagle, said “That’s my Grandpa checking on us”.
