Membership

The Edward L. Rose Land Conservancy is supported through annual membership dues, bequests, donations and gifts of land. All memberships and gifts qualify as tax deductible charitable contributions.

When you join as a member, you show your commitment to protecting forests, farms, wildlife habitat, and water quality in the region you love. A healthy environment supports the health and happiness of individuals and families in our communities, provides scenic beauty and outdoor recreation opportunities, and serves as a foundation for a strong, land-based economy. Your tax-deductible contribution helps protect the land you love for current and future generations.

Membership benefits

  • Quarterly electronic newsletters, highlighting up-to-date regional conservation news and providing updates on local conservation projects
  • Access to hiking trails at High Point, Greenwood, and Woodbourne Preserve ( which is open to the public)
  • Invitations to special events, including our annual members’ meeting
  • Voting privileges at the annual members’ meeting

You choose an amount that is comfortable for you, with the understanding that you will receive an annual reminder to renew your membership.  All memberships, including Basic, may be jointly held with a spouse or significant other.

You may initiate or renew your membership on-line with a credit card or PayPal, or by downloading a form and mailing it in with your check.  Unless you join on-line and choose the auto-renew option, we ask that you revalidate your membership information when making annual renewal payments.  The Edward L.Rose Land Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization:  your dues are tax deductible if you itemize your return and meet current IRS guidelines (see IRS Publication 526.)
