Would you like to participate in our Lake Network Initiative?
There is a county wide interest in protecting the water quality of our lakes. Our lakes provide potable water, recreational activities, high quality fisheries, and contributes to a high quality of life and our economic stability.
Goals of the Lake Network Initiative:
- Compile and compare water quality information for lakes county-wide
- Promote baseline lake water quality testing
- Assist in planning future water quality efforts
- Conserve priority wetlands as well as lake and stream buffers through conservation easements
