Floating Platforms used by local wildlife

Edward L Rose Conservancy built and deployed two floating platforms to encourage waterfowl nesting. A surprising array of local wildlife has been using the platforms for resting and socializing both day and night.
Motion activated cameras have been stationed on the platforms since June of 2015 and many thousands of pictures have been captured of local wildlife. We will feature different photographs to share some seldom seen images of local fauna and animal behaviors.

Eastern Painted Turtles enjoy the protective easy to access platform and sun themselves often, individually or in groups.
